Income Tax Credit - Nanobiotechnology Investment Incentives

Synopsis:

Allowing qualified investors a credit against the State income tax for specified investments in nanobiotechnology companies; providing for applications to the Department of Business and Economic Development for approval of the credit and certification by the Department to investors of approved credit amounts; creating the Maryland Nanobiotechnology Investment Tax Credit Reserve Fund; providing that the Secretary may not issue initial tax credit certificates that total more than a specified appropriation; etc.
