Entitled:
Maryland False Health Claims Act of 2009

Synopsis:

Prohibiting specified actions constituting false claims against a State health plan or a State health program; providing specified penalties for making false claims against a State health plan or a State health program; authorizing the State to file a civil action against a person who makes a false claim against a State health plan or a State health program under specified circumstances; providing for the procedures to be followed in a civil action; providing for specified remedies under a civil action; etc.
