Health Insurance - Prompt Pay - Clarifications
Clarifying that if an insurer, nonprofit health service plan, or
health maintenance organization fails to pay a clean claim for
reimbursement or otherwise violates specified provisions of law, the
insurer, nonprofit health service plan, or health maintenance
organization shall pay interest on a specified amount at a specified
monthly interest rate.
