Environment - Independent Audit - Use of State Money by Nongovernmental
Organizations
Requiring a nongovernmental organization that receives State money for
a purpose authorized or required under the Environment Article to
employ an independent certified public accountant licensed to practice
in the State to conduct an annual audit of the nongovernmental
organization's books and financial records as the books and records
relate to the organization's use of State money; requiring the
nongovernmental organization to submit a certified copy of the annual
audit to the Governor and the General Assembly; etc.
