Environment - Landfills - Methane Testing
Requiring the Department of the Environment to conduct a study of
specified landfills for the potential to use methane emissions for
electricity generation; authorizing the Department to determine the
procedures and methods of each study; and requiring the Department to
report to the Senate Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs
Committee, the House Environmental Matters Committee, and the Maryland
Energy Administration.
