Department of Housing and Community Development - Affordable Housing - Financing Ownership Interests

Synopsis:

Promoting and preserving affordable rental housing by authorizing the Department of Housing and Community Development to provide financing to acquire ownership interests in entities that own real property that can be used for affordable rental housing; authorizing the Department to make specified loans; requiring the Department to adopt specified policies and to administer specified loans and attach specified terms and conditions to the loans; etc.
