Amending the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Compact to
comply with federal requirements; increasing the number of Directors
on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Board to eight,
including two federal Directors (one of whom shall be a regular
passenger of the bus or rail service of the Authority); providing for
the appointment of the federal Directors and alternates; establishing
an Office of the Inspector General within the Authority; providing
that the head of the Office is the Inspector General; etc.
