Health Insurance - Assignment of Benefits and Reimbursement of Nonpreferred Providers

Synopsis:

Providing that an insured of specified health insurance carriers may not be liable to specified on-call physicians for specified services under specified circumstances; prohibiting specified on-call physicians from taking specified actions against an insured under specified circumstances; authorizing the on-call physicians to collect specified payments from an insured under specified circumstances; etc.
