Synopsis:

Altering provisions of law relating to a waiver from the maintenance of effort requirement for funding public education; altering provisions specifying to whom and the date by which a county governing body must make a request for a waiver from the maintenance of effort requirement; requiring the Superintendent of Schools to consider specified factors when making a decision whether to grant a waiver; etc.
