Health - Duty to Report Death - Requirement and Penalties
Requiring specified individuals who have personal knowledge of the
death of another or who have discovered the body of another individual
to provide notice within 24 hours after acquiring personal knowledge
or discovery of the death to a law enforcement officer, physician, 9-
1-1 system, or medical examiner under specified circumstances;
providing that the Act does not apply to an individual who reasonably
believes that the death has been reported in accordance with the Act;
and establishing penalties.
