Synopsis:

Expanding a prohibition against the possession of regulated firearms by a person convicted of a crime of violence or specified drug-related crime to apply to all firearms; increasing the maximum penalty for a violation of the Act; creating an exception regarding eligibility of a specified person for parole; etc.
