Business Regulation - Secondhand Precious Metal Object Dealers - Exempted Transactions and Record Keeping Requirements

Synopsis:

Exempting specified transactions of retail jewelers from the requirement to hold a secondhand precious metal object dealer license; authorizing dealers to identify specified items by tagging each item individually or by keeping the items in a separate container subject to specified labeling requirements; requiring the primary law enforcement unit to adopt procedures for dealers to amend submitted records; etc.
