Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance - Location of a Mobile Communications Device

Synopsis:

Modifying a definition of "contents" applicable to specified provisions of law relating to wiretapping and electronic surveillance to include the location of a mobile communications device; authorizing a provider of wireless telecommunications service to disclose to a public safety official or emergency service provider location information transmitted by a mobile communications device for a specified period of time under specified emergency circumstances; etc.
