Developmental Disabilities Administration - Recipient Appeals

Synopsis:

Requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to provide notice and an opportunity for a Medicaid fair hearing under specified circumstances; requiring the Secretary to provide specified notice within 30 days after the denial of Medicaid-waiver services to a recipient under a plan of habilitation; authorizing an individual who receives written notice of a denial to appeal the decision; etc.
