Maryland Afterschool and Summer Learning Activity Program - Income Tax Checkoff

Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Afterschool and Summer Learning Activity Program to provide grants to specified organizations that serve specified public school youth; requiring the Governor's Office for Children to administer the Program; establishing an income tax checkoff system for voluntary contributions to the Maryland Afterschool and Summer Learning Activity Fund to provide funds for grants under the Program; applying the Act to tax years beginning in 2010; etc.
