Rachel's Law - Closed Captioning in Movie Theaters

Synopsis:

Requiring a specified place of public accommodation to provide access to closed-captioning technology for deaf and hard of hearing individuals; requiring the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, in consultation with the Governor's Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, to identify and approve the appropriate technology to provide reasonable accommodation and to set the minimum number of showings in which closed-captioning technology is required at a movie theater; etc.
