Vehicle Laws - Equine Riding - Helmet Requirement for Minors
Prohibiting a person under the age of 18 from riding an equine on a
highway, an equine-riding path, or a specified other property unless
the person is wearing a properly secured helmet that meets specified
standards; establishing a fine schedule for subsequent violations of
the helmet requirement; requiring a court to order the parent or
guardian of a minor under 14 years of age who is convicted of a
violation of the Act to pay the fine imposed for the violation under
specified circumstances; etc.
