Criminal Law - Fraud - Fraudulent Misrepresentation Made to a Nonprofit Organization Concerning a Lease or Contract

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from making false or fraudulent pretenses, promises, or misrepresentations to a nonprofit organization concerning a written contract or lease for goods of a specified value; providing that a violation of the Act is a misdemeanor; establishing penalties; providing for restitution; providing that prosecution under the Act does not preclude prosecution for theft; providing for a merger of penalties under specified circumstances; etc.
