Requiring the State Department of Education, in consultation with the Financial Literacy Education Advisory Council, to develop and implement an online instructional program that provides a financial literacy curriculum for high school students; requiring students to demonstrate competency in managing money, managing credit and debt, saving and investing, and financial planning for successful completion of the program; requiring the program to be available beginning in the 2017-2018 school year for voluntary participation; etc.
