Maryland Health Care Commission - Racial Variations Data - Nondiscrimination in Health Insurance

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Health Care Commission to include specified racial variations in specified systems to evaluate the quality of care outcomes and performance measurements of specified health maintenance organization benefit plans, nursing facilities, and hospitals and ambulatory surgical facilities; and prohibiting the use of specified racial variations information to deny or otherwise affect a health insurance policy or contract.
