Synopsis:

Increasing the maximum term of imprisonment for a violation of the prohibition against a specified person possessing a specified regulated firearm; creating an exception regarding eligibility of a specified person for parole; prohibiting a person from possessing a rifle or a shotgun if the person was previously convicted of a specified crime of violence or drug-related crime; establishing penalties; etc.
