Unemployment Insurance - Successor Businesses

Synopsis:

Providing that new employers acquiring businesses may choose either to assume the experience rating of the predecessor employer or obtain a new employer rate for the two years after the acquisition of the business; providing that taxable wages are transferred to an employing unit acquiring or transferring a business into the State if the employing unit also transfers the benefit charges of the predecessor employer; etc.
