Court Costs - State Aid for Police Protection, Criminal Injuries Compensation, and Victim and Witness Protection and Relocation

Synopsis:

Increasing to $2.50 the per capita amount of a supplemental grant by the State to subdivisions for police protection; providing for a supplemental grant by the State to Baltimore City of fifty cents per capita; requiring the State to allocate and distribute the grant among the subdivisions and qualifying municipalities in the subdivisions on a per capita basis; increasing to $1,200 per officer a yearly payment by the State to qualifying municipalities based on the number of sworn police officers employed full time by the municipality; etc.
