Establishing an exclusive procedural remedy for corrections personnel in the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services in disciplinary hearings; specifying the scope of the Act; ensuring that corrections personnel have a right to engage in political activity; ensuring that corrections personnel have a right to assemble and to petition grievances; ensuring that corrections personnel are entitled to a workplace free of health hazards and risks; etc.
