Public-Private Partnership Financing of Transportation Facility Projects

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Maryland Transportation Authority to enter into public-private partnership agreements with private companies for the purpose of providing private financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of transportation facilities projects; exempting such partnership agreements from parts of the State Finance and Procurement Law under specified circumstances; requiring the Department of Transportation to establish a certain advisory task force; etc.
