Insurance - Coverage for Carbon Monoxide Injuries and Damage in Multifamily Rental Dwellings

Synopsis:

Requiring a contract of insurance for multifamily rental property to cover personal injury and property damage due to the release of carbon monoxide from a heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, or refrigeration system; exempting an intentional discharge of carbon monoxide for the purpose of causing personal injury and property damage from the provisions of the Act; authorizing the Insurance Commissioner to adopt certain regulations; and requiring the Commissioner to review specified forms and enforce compliance.
