Forest Conservation - Alterations

Synopsis:

Altering provisions of the Forest Conservation Act of 1991; authorizing a local authority to establish a program for the banking of forest resources as a mitigation technique; authorizing a licensed land surveyor or property line surveyor to prepare a forest stand delineation; prohibiting the Department of Natural Resources or a local authority from requiring the planting of a minimum number of species; reducing conservation thresholds; eliminating the conservation threshold for commercial and industrial use land; etc.
