Creation of a State Debt - Baltimore City - Project Liberty Ship

Synopsis:

Creating a State Debt not to exceed $100,000, with a matching fund requirement, the proceeds to be used as a grant to Project Liberty Ship for the repair, renovation, and preservation, including replacement of the rivets, of the historic Liberty Ship, the John W. Brown, which is used as a memorial to merchant marines and naval armed guards; and requiring the grantee to grant and convey a specified covenant to the Maryland Historical Trust.
