Homeowner's Insurance - Covered Property Loss - Repair or Replacement Costs

Synopsis:

Requiring an insurer that issues a policy of homeowner's insurance that requires the insurer to pay the cost to repair or replace the damaged part of a building as settlement of a claim for covered property loss to pay specified costs associated with the damage or loss to restore the value of the building or structure to its replacement value; and requiring the Maryland Insurance Commissioner to adopt regulations to implement the Act.
