Recordation Tax and State Transfer Tax - Transfer of Agricultural Land

Synopsis:

Exempting an instrument of writing that transfers title to agricultural land from the recordation tax and the State transfer tax if the instrument is exempt from the agricultural land transfer tax because the transferee files a declaration of intent to farm the land; imposing the recordation tax and State transfer tax on agricultural land that is subject to a declaration of intent to farm if there is a failure to comply with the declaration of intent; making the tax and penalty a lien on the land; etc.
