State Procurement and Financing - Investment and Accountability Act

Synopsis:

Requiring contractors and subcontractors under State contracts for services, recipients of State financial assistance, and health care providers that receive specified level of revenues through Medicaid to pay employees at minimum wage level; requiring the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to prescribe a wage level based on a federal standard; providing specified exemptions and waivers; prescribing a separate wage standard for work formerly performed by State employees; etc.
