State Procurement and Financing - Investment and Accountability Act

Synopsis:

Requiring contractors and subcontractors under State contracts for services, recipients of State financial assistance, and health care providers that receive specified revenue levels through Medicaid to pay employees specified wage levels; requiring the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to prescribe a wage level based on a federal standard; providing specified exemptions and waivers; prescribing a separate wage standard for work formerly performed by State employees; granting employees covered under the Act specified rights; etc.
