Charles County - Property Tax and Recordation Tax - Rental Dwellings Converted to Owner-Occupied Dwellings

Synopsis:

Authorizing Charles County to designate areas of the county that the governing body determines are in transition from predominantly owner-occupied homes to predominantly rental dwellings; authorizing Charles County to grant a property tax credit and recordation tax exemption for property in a designated area being converted from a rental dwelling to an owner-occupied dwelling; authorizing the governing body of Charles County to implement the tax credit and exemption; etc.
