Tax Credit for Cost of Providing Commuter Benefits to Employees

Synopsis:

Allowing a credit against the State income tax, financial institution franchise tax, and insurance premiums tax for certain costs incurred by employers that provide commuter benefits to employees, such as transit passes, transportation, or reimbursement for car pooling expenses; and providing that an employer may claim a maximum credit amount of $30 per month per employee.
