Synopsis:

Requiring an applicant for certification as a security guard to be of good moral character and reputation; establishing a renewal process for certifications of security guards; authorizing the Secretary of State Police to refuse to renew certifications under specified circumstances; authorizing the Secretary of State Police to take specified disciplinary action if an applicant or individual pleads guilty or nolo contendere to or is convicted of specified crimes; etc.
