Practice of Dentistry - Definition

Synopsis:

Including within the definition of "practice dentistry" under the State Dental Practice Act the making of a specified proposed determination that a dental service or dental operation is not medically or dentally necessary or medically or dentally appropriate for a patient; specifying an exception for a determination made solely for an educational purpose; specifying a rule of construction for the Act; and requiring the Maryland Insurance Administration to conduct a specifed study.
