Education - Maryland After-School Opportunity Act

Synopsis:

Providing for the Maryland After-School Opportunity Act; creating the Maryland After-School Opportunity Fund; requiring the Governor to include $10 million in the fiscal year 2001 State budget for the Fund; requiring the Department of Human Resources to administer the Fund; establishing an Advisory Board for the Fund; establishing an Executive Committee of the Advisory Board; providing for the membership, terms, and duties of the Board and Committee; etc.
