Providing that specified State employees may be entitled to organ
donation leave with pay; establishing the maximum number of days of
leave that an employee may use to serve as a bone marrow and organ
donor; providing that an employee may use organ donation leave only
after obtaining approval from the employee's appointing authority;
requiring the Secretary of Budget and Management to adopt specified
regulations, including a requirement for medical documentation of the
proposed donation before leave is approved; etc.
