State Used Tire Cleanup and Recycling Fund
Clarifying that the State Used Tire Cleanup and Recycling Fund may be
used to pay for scrap tire recycling programs, including research,
planning, monitoring, public education, and market development;
exempting under specified circumstances specified persons from the
requirement that specified expenditures from the Fund be reimbursed to
the Department of the Environment; lowering the maximum amount of the
used tire recycling fee from $1 to 40 cents per tire; etc.
