Medical Assistance Program - Federally Qualified Health Centers - Cost Based Reimbursement

Synopsis:

Repealing provisions of law that establish a process for providing specified supplemental payments to federally qualified health centers participating in the State Medical Assistance Program and require the supplemental payments to be reduced each year and to terminate in 2004; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt regulations to ensure that federally qualified health centers are paid reasonable cost based reimbursement that is consistent with federal law; etc.
