Criminal Procedure - Sentencing - Custodial Confinement as a Condition of Probation

Synopsis:

Allowing a court to order as a condition of a suspended sentence or probation a term of custodial confinement; clarifying that imprisonment or custodial confinement does not limit the court's authority to order other terms of a suspended sentence or probation; requiring time served in imprisonment or custodial confinement to be credited against specified sentences; clarifying and limiting the authority of courts in specified counties to order a term of imprisonment as a condition of a suspended sentence or probation; etc.
