Synopsis:

Requiring that all county boards of education establish mentoring programs for newly hired teachers with fewer than 2 years of teaching experience; requiring the Maryland State Department of Education to adopt regulations to ensure statewide uniformity of mentoring requirements; and establishing minimum standards for mentoring programs.
