Maryland Health Care Foundation - Health Insurance Demonstration Project for Uninsured, Low-Income, Working Adults

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Maryland Health Care Foundation to contract to offer, through demonstration projects, employer-based health insurance to uninsured, low-income, working adults; providing authorization for a specified demonstration project; providing for the qualifications of individuals eligible to be covered and their employers; specifying the benefits to be provided under the Act; providing that mandated benefits need not be provided under the Act; limiting the total number of enrollees to 30,000; etc.
