Powers of Attorney

Synopsis:

Requiring a durable power of attorney executed in the State on or after October 1, 2001, to be acknowledged before a notary public; requiring preprinted durable power of attorney forms sold or distributed in the State on or after October 1, 2001, to include a specified notice and to specify the duties of an attorney in fact or agent; providing that an attorney in fact or agent who commits specified acts is guilty of embezzlement; etc.
