Education - Technology for Education Program - Nonvisual Access

Synopsis:

Requiring the State Superintendent of Education and the Department of Business and Economic Development to include a clause governing nonvisual access in invitations for bids, requests for proposals or grants, and procurement contracts or modifications of contracts for computer-based instructional technology that are to be developed or obtained for classroom use; specifying requirements that are to be included in the clause; authorizing specified alternatives under specified circumstances; etc.
