Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Pedestrian Safety Program; providing for funding of the Program; requiring the Secretary of Transportation to award grants under the Program to counties, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations; requiring the Secretary to establish specified grant application procedures; authorizing counties, municipalities, and nonprofit organizations to apply for grants under the Program to be used for specified purposes relating to pedestrian safety; etc.
