Creation of a State Debt - Maryland School for the Blind Emergency Panic Alarm System

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $86,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Maryland School for the Blind, Inc. for the planning and design of Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility improvements and for the installation of fire alarm upgrades; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; and providing generally for the issuance and sale of bonds evidencing the loan.
