County Boards of Education - Interagency Transition Teams to Assist Students in the Juvenile Justice System

Synopsis:

Requiring each county board of education to establish an Interagency Transition Team, the purpose of which is to facilitate school placement and services to meet specified needs of students in the juvenile justice system transitioning to a local school; providing for the composition of the team; requiring specified agencies to provide the appropriate mental health and social development services to specified students; providing for the duties of a team; requiring a specified reporting system to be developed and implemented; etc.
