Coverage for Residents
Authorizing specified counties or municipal corporations that offer
coverage for employees under a group health benefit plan to offer
coverage to specified residents who are not employees of the county or
municipal corporation; providing that the provisions of the Act do not
apply to counties or municipal corporations that are self-insured or
meet specified requirements; requiring an individual to be a resident
of the county or municipal corporation for 1 year to participate in
the group health benefit plan; etc.
