Firefighters and Emergency Medical Personnel - Procedural Guarantees

Synopsis:

Providing that firefighters and emergency medical personnel under interrogation or investigation have specified rights; specifying the procedure to be followed at interrogations or investigations of a firefighter or emergency medical personnel; clarifying that superintendents, commissioners, or fire chiefs of specified facilities retain the authority to regulate operation and management by reasonable means; and clarifying that supervisors retain the authority to resolve minor infractions by informal counseling.
